May/June: Aespa mini album debut

July: Red Velvet 3rd full album

August: SNSD (to coincide with their anniversary)

Also if we get a Summer Velvet comeback from Red Velvet, I’ll be shook to my core. Red Flavor, Umpah Umpah and Power Up were all straight red tracks. I have a feeling this time they’ll drop a Velvet summer track (similar to Sunny Side Up). It’ll certainly be fresh for them to do so since they’ve never done that type of summer style for previous comebacks and it would suit their more mature image now. Just a gut feeling after the mega success of Psycho.

I actually agree with you on this. I never understood why groups debuting in 2018 were called 4th Gen. 3rd Gen was and IS still very much alive and thriving. Imo the very START of 4th Gen happened when TXT and ITZY debuted on the scene in 2019. I think 4th Gen will really kick off once YGNGG, SMNBG and BHNGG debuts within the next year or so. I have a feeling this year or next year will be the defining year for 4th Gen just like 2016 was for 3rd Gen.

I am thinking around 70-100K. I’ll be so freaking shocked and happy if she can reach 100K+ though. It’ll make her the 2nd best selling 3rd Gen female soloist after Rose and she would honestly deserve that so much.

The fact that she’s already reached 17K+ pre orders in 1.5 days is a good sign (ktown4u and other Fanclub links). She’s already surpassed Hwasa, Moonbyul and Solar’s pre order numbers on Ktown4U and they all ended up selling within the 60-85K range. ALSO her Chinese weibo bar has still yet to drop orders which makes me think Wendy can possibly do it. It might not happen the first week though so I’m gonna say it’ll happen within the first monthly Gaon update. I’m sure once the album/songs/MV is out, even more people will buy. Come on Wendy 100K+, you can do it, reveluvs I believe in you!

I feel like SM is doing this to gauge how well they might sell with their first album. I wouldn’t be surprised if their marketing/business team are already analyzing this as we speak. I’m sure SM has something big planned for them

It has to be Seulgi. She has it all from dance, vocals, visual and stage charisma. Not too mention she’s one of the more naturally cute idols if you see her off stage personality which is totally opposite from her on stage persona. Love everything about her

SNSD 100%. They were for a time the TOP Kpop group including boy groups and girl groups. AND the fact they produced 2 IT girls Yoona and Taeyeon says everything you already need to know.

I'll admit...I was one of the people who said a few questionable things about their visuals back in the old allkpop thread but at the time I think I was definitely influenced by the "hive mind" of all the users there. I have since completely changed my mind once I saw their music show performances and behind the scenes content. The girls are gorgeous and I think I am falling for Winter lol
