You know what I think is stupid? Being a fan of someone, but making that someone look like a total flop by constantly complaining about them and their cb somehow not being enough.
Her songs were not very well received by the gp, but still did really well bc of fans. I personally consider that a win and a reason to be grateful with what you get. But maybe that's just me

I've seen plenty of articles on both Korean and international sites, and I heard she appeared on big US talk shows. That's big promo right there. I think it's just that her songs aren't making a splash. It happens. Maybe she'll have better songs next time

And you even agreed with one of them saying the group's music is garbage? Imo that's an odd thing to do when you're making a thread complaining about people being harsh on your own faves' music and trying to police what type of criticism is fine.

Yeah I find it pretty bad. What I experienced, and what I'm seeing a LOT of other people experience, is that it's hard to even just make it through the full song. Like, it's that noisy and unpleasant.
But good for anyone who likes it, I like plenty of songs others don't too. However, it's weird to try and make it seem like the dislike is some kind of anti conspiracy when half the people dissing the song on twt are nctzens themselves.

Yeah this is definitely a case of plagiarism. It might not be a severe case of copy paste or a deliberate act, but if they weren't credited when the album was first released and were added later, then it's clear-cut plagiarism. There's no other explanation.
And I don't think SM would have added the credits unless they got a complaint either from the songwriters themselves or their publisher, since it's pretty embarrassing and it also means an extra cut of the profits goes to someone else. So I wouldn't assume the songwriters and their camp are completely unbothered by this.

What strikes me as the biggest red flag is that all 3 of these girls who have come forward are (ex) fans, and that he kept bringing it up in their relationship to either make them feel bad or appease them, which means he deliberately preys on fans knowing they're easy to manipulate into doing whatever he wants.
Also I find it so ironic that every excuse fans comes up with gets debunked. First it was all fabricated, but then Lucas admitted to it by apologizing for it. Then they said they were never girlfriends and they knew what they were getting into, but these girls are literally saying he told them they were a couple, and then cheated on them (which they only learned now). They said he never gaslit anyone, but pushing someone into period sex against their will is 100% manipulative.
I'm pretty sure the exes keep speaking up bc fans keep defending him, they should have just stayed quiet.

I feel like Rosé is the most image conscious of the members, so she would never. Lisa strikes me as a 'glass half full' kind of gal and someone who moves on from uncomfortable situations quickly. And I have a hard time reading Jisoo.
Meanwhile I think Jennie has had the hardest time in the group, and wouldn't be surprised if she ends up not looking fondly on her time in BP in the future. So she would probably have the most to spill

I think it's a pretty natural cycle of cause and reaction tbh.
Fans desperately delude themselves and others around them into thinking scandals are fabricated, that creates pushback from non-fans (even if the scandal isn't super severe) because they can't believe people can be so delusional and don't like to see someone get away with bad behaviour scott free, which in turn makes fans more extreme with their excuses as they see more and more people criticize their fav and fandom, and so on and so on until the scandal suddenly looks bigger than it ever should have been and focus on the victims is lost.
But at the end of the day everyone has to decide for themselves if they think someone is worth stanning or not. No one can make anyone unstan, but they also can't force you not to view someone critically or unfavourably. So I think the only thing that really matters is that the truth gets out.

Like y'all can pretend to think he did nothing wrong and isn't lowkey misogynistic/sexist for treating women like that, but the way y'all desperately grasped at every straw to try to debunk these accusations show me you know deep down how shitty someone is for treating others like that.
Also most scandals in kpop are non-criminal and from idols' private life (like all the recent bullying scandals), so I don't understand why this is suddenly used as an excuse. He deserves the criticism and fans deserve to know the truth about who they stan so they can fairly decide if he's worth their coin or not.
