Not really answering your question but I’ve only watched one (barely even) and the first scene was of this man killing himself. It was very graphic and I cried because they were great actors but I couldn’t watch anymore after that. Maybe if someone recommends a good one without violent scenes I’d give it another chance :D

I was so confused a week ago because there’s just so much content, it was hard to focus on one thing before jumping to the next with a different unit but I think I’ve gotten the hang of it and have learned a few more members’ names. I’m finding myself being drawn to WayV more (for now) but it’s taking me longer than usual to tell who’s who except for maybe 2 members. Anyway, great job!!

I love reading your insights about their songs! They’re always so detailed and really looks past the superficial details. Zombie is a song that really hit hard for me, it came during a time when I really needed reassurance that everything was going to be okay and the lyrics were an exact replica of what was going through my mind. You’re right, the end didn’t give us that cliche happy ending, in fact they say over and over again there was “nothing that can cure me”. It ends the same way it started, no happy reassurance, no hopeful encouragements but somehow it was enough to make me feel better because there was someone out there who was going through the exact same thing. Anyway, i love this song

Ah - this is helpful. I'm a big fan of r&b songs myself. Generally speaking, I prefer the WayV brides to the tt except for Take Off, which is my jaaaam.

Thanks for the recommendations!! I think I really like Domino, Take Off and Action Figure. I gave the rest of their stuff a listen, or at least as much as I could before knocking out lol I like Love Talk and Face to Face. I like them even more now

hmm there’s some exceptions but I don’t like EDM. Might be boring actually, but I like the songs that sorta have r&b vibes also slow(ish?) songs, and ballads because i’m a sucker for great vocals over dance

lilithegrape you’ll find the members here are pretty friendly and helpful. They’ve been helping me with my own gaps on members for this getting to know series. I know a lot less about Dream because their music isn’t my style..
Thanks! I came from there actually lol it was the Renjun thread that told me to learn their names :-D I also learned the others’ names from there and some info but it was hard to keep going back and forth and I enjoyed watching the different shows too much to pause haha

Favorite song is hard because I’ve actually had NCT songs in my playlists for a while now. It’s just that I wanted to see the original choreo to Make A Wish and that’s how I got into getting to know the members lol in short, I like a lot of their songs and there doesn’t seem to be a preference between the different units except I don’t have any song from WayV yet.
My favorite member so far...is also hard to say lol. I think i’m mostly drawn to Jaemin but then I also really like Ten and Chenle..and Renjun..and Taeyong

Hi! Idk if I’m allowed to post here but
I’m new in the world of NCT & i just wanna say, i’m so confused because i keep switching between different episodes of different shows and different units but i’m loving every second lmao.
Someone here gave me a tip a week ago to focus on one unit to make learning their names easier, well i tried. I decided i was gonna focus on the unit that sang the song that got me to check them out, that song is Make a Wish. That’s right
. It took me a couple more NCT U music, dance practices and performance videos to realize the members were changing..made me kinda sad cause i really wanted to learn the members’ names. I’m impatient so i decided to just dive right in and hope for the best :-D So far, i know every member in Dream, i know Ten, Lucas, Johnny, Taeyong, and Shotaro. I know more names but those are the people I can distinguish in music/performance videos, although it still takes me a while to find the difference between Jaemin and Renjun when they’re moving too fast. They don’t even look alike when they stand still. Go figure
