It also depends on where their growth is from.. they got massive growth in China.. who can't really access youtube, spotify, etc.. As a couple of others have said, c-fans do buy outside of c-bars.

As for where I'm in (Canada), I know way more ppl who bought the album.. like 10x more. None of us are streamers. Also the lower cost of digipacks make almost no difference for us as the shipping costs more than the albums itself.

Perhaps they haven't grown a whole lot in the countries known for their streaming?

this is really silly.. these big kpop companies are publicly traded companies. They are not stupid enough to over inflate their sales in their financial reports. Major lawsuits from shareholders would be all over them. The risk far far outweighs the rewards.

Not sure.. I use google translate on weibo so it doesn't translate well.. but they seem hella organized.. fundraising, setting up physical stalls/booths, prize draws for reaching certain sales milestones etc.. They seem to be using a few retailers, including ktown... and they put their orders in all at once just before the CB, I'm assuming that's why it doesn't show up on the pre-order counts on ktown. They seem to have some direct communication with these retailers. That makes sense as they are making multi-million dollar (USD) transactions.

There definitely are restrictions to bulk buying... each person can buy a limited number. I'm sure they figured out a way around it.

These c-fans have my respect.. I'm a huge Aespa stan, but would never put in that much time and effort just to support their favs.

Not too familiar with how c-bars work.. but my understanding is that they like to put their orders in on the first day to crank up the first day/week numbers. From the other thread.. looks like Ning bar bought 213K+ and Winter bar 163K+.. so those two alone is almost 400K. Karina bar definitely hit over 200K as well.. so it's definitely over 600K from c-bars

In terms of western fans like me.. there's a bunch of organized group orders here. I know a ton of ppl who bought aespa albums.. me included (Canada).. way more so than their first album.

NingNing for me!! But I do think Aespa has great vocals overall...
