Agreed.. having a position for visuals is stupid, but visuals are important to bring in fans

I'm sure it's purely a business decision by SM.. for a new big 3 gg, why give haters a chance to criticize when there's already so much hate for them before they even debut. SM has a long history of training excellent vocals, especially for gg and that won't change for aespa. They'll sing live eventually and I'm sure they will be great.
For a smaller company, they would take the risk because they have nothing to lose really. They have to figure out a way to stand out just to survive. Big 3 companies don't need to take that risk.

I think Aespa has superior overall visuals compared to red velvet.. just my personal opinion of course
