Also people are conflating his student time after joining Big Hit as a trainee, were we know he was quite popular (at least popular enough to have friends in other classrooms and ask them to befriend Jimin we he enrolled), to his student time before joining Big Hit as a trainee. Those were two different schools and we don't know much about the earlier period.

just bc theyre not directed at her specifically didnt mean that it didnt affect her. these jokes made her uncomfortable to the extent that the teachers had to get involved and TELL him to stop bc hes saying these things in front of a girl, but he continued anyway.

i think we cant dictate how shes supposed to feel bc we werent there. ive been victim of jokes like this before in hs and they may come off as jokes but it makes class extremely uncomfortable and hostile.

You also need to put in context, though, that this is not a situation of grown-up adults in a work environment.

Kids and teens do sexual jokes, quite a lot some of them.

With this, I'm not saying "Mingyu did nothing wrong" (if this is confirmed true), and for sure you would expect a student to be able to behave better, BUT I wouldn't put this on the same level of verbal sexual harassment at work.

What's even funnier about that supposed defensive statement, is that he didn't even say that he didn't like the cover itself, that he didn't like their voices, the arrangement, their diction or whatever. No, he simply was furious about them "daring" to cover Coldplay. Which is a bigoted opinion itself, and gatekeeping. And also plain stupid since Coldplay praised and acknowledged the cover...

I woke up this mornings to the news trending on Twitter and was so disgusted!

What specially surprises me is that this specimen of a person seems to be absolutely outraged at the idea of BTS daring to have a MTV Unplugged ? And daring to cover Coldplay ?? Like what???

Coldplay have showered BTS with compliments and approval for their cover so where does this outrage even come from, in behalf of whom is this person mad? This is just plain boomer/racist/misogynistic behavior (yes I'm adding misogyny too because this is the classic "boy bad = thing liked by girls = not good")

Dis-ease needs to be performed pleeeease.

Black Swan would be weird if they aren't performing ON, but I wouldn't oppose for sure. On the other side, we've got plenty of performances for Black Swan (ok, not enough of them for sure) but none for Dis-ease so...

Then, again, they certainly love to not perform some of their bests tracks per album coughcough louder than bombs coughcough paradise coughcough

As a spanish ARMY, I'm proud of this achievement!! I still celebrate every time I hear Dynamite on a radio station and I wonder how much will I be hearing it during the summer

Well all the groups I stan, with the exception of Day6, have no foreign members so, yeah, it doesn't matter to me that much as long as I'm able to enjoy their music and dynamics.

With TheShow removing app-votes and probably not allowing international votes, I'm honestly scared...

I hope they finally get that first win though!!

Yes, those are two different groups.

On one side, BH-Source GG is going to be on a new sub-label called Hybe (directed by Min Heejin). The PLUS Global Audition is for this group.

Then, Belift is going to release a new season for I-Land centered on female trainees and, with this, a new girl group will debut under Belift.
