About NCT vs Stray kids vs Seventeen, can't we just wait until all groups comeback? We still haven't count the impact of Resonance for NCT and Kingdom for Stray Kids.

Well they live and train in Korea primarily which is why they stayed in Korea. I think they're still worried about the whole group getting stuck in China if there's a rise in restrictions. They did promote in China before the pandemic hit. I imagine that once things are settled back down they will go back to doing promotions in China with secondary work in Korea.
Lucas was able to rejoin the cast of Keep Running (China's version of Running Man) so they've got that going at least and the Chinese survival show where Lisa is a mentor did a whole cover of their last comeback.

Well they're never going to be as popular in Korea because of the fact they are Chinese and sing in Chinese. Koreans were dragging them for singing in Mandarin on the music programs where it was allowed (and in Koreans on the ones where it wasn't), but among the international fandom they are getting there. Being officially part of NCT and allow the members to be brought into those cross promotions have helped immensely.
I wish SM (or Label V) can promote them better in China. I know that SM promoted WayV in Korea because of covid but that means nothing if WayV's main target is China. Is it really hard to go to music shows in China?

maybe you need a history lesson so i can teach you the relation that Korea have with China and chinese currently ?
without mentionning that WayV have always promoted since their debut as not being part of the NCT brand that's why they aren't call NCT China or something like this
they have been consider as part of NCT just since NCT 2020
and since this their sales already double

The industry is the charts, Dream and 127's albums are listed separately and they receive seperate awards cause they are seperate groups. Can 127 not stand on their own, is that why fans constantly try tp lump all groups together? Cause that would include WayV who just got a Plat album and whose average sales (not to mention digitals which are borderline nonexistent) brings the then overall NCT average hella down, but I noticed alot nctizens leave out WayV numbers for that exact reason.
Also, full and repackage are not the same album as shown by the charts which lists them separately, and the certificates that are awarded SEPARATELY. SM stans have always struggled with that fact tho, and its funny cause I never see them claiming the same full+repack sales for any other company's group
This! People forget that WayV exists. If NCT unit's achievements has to credit NCT as a whole, then isn't that means we can blame 127 and Dream because WayV didn't have high sales and digitals? That sound unfair to me.

I am literally so confused right now. I’m talking about attributing NCT dreams digitals to NCT as a whole, and saying this makes them a top group. Resonance’s achievements are, IMO, nct’s achievements. NCT dreams however, are NCT dreams, unless 127 can match their digitals. If that happens, then you can argue that they have top notch digitals.
I'm confused too. So should we or should we not give credit to all NCT members if one unit got an achievement?

You clearly didn't understand the concept of NCT, NCT and their units aren't group but BRAND !!!
they are link to each other the success of NCT 127 influence the success of NCT dream etc..
NCT dream popularity internationnally grow thanks to NCT 127 promo in the west
and the success of Neozone brought a lot of new fans in the fandom who the bought ridin album
and it's easy to understand this just by seeing their sales, when one unit sales increase the other unit sale increase
counting each unit as individual group, would mean that they were able to reach 1M just because they are NCT dream or NCT 127 and not because they are part of the NCT Brand. The achievement of 1 unit influence on the success of another unit
So no crediting the success that NCT dream is having currently is denying the influence that NCT 127 had this succees and same thing can be say about NCT 127.
So their success is because of the brand not because of the group itself, and too much of you can't understand this, NCT isn't a regular group when just their promo is enough
that's why NCT dream was able to have such big sales during We boom era while not making any activities, it was thanks to the promo that NCT 127 was doing at this time etc...

Yes but We all know that 127, Dream, and WayV promotes separately. So for this particular achievement, the one that achieved it is Dream not NCT as a whole. So for now I think it’s valid that NCT Dream is top 3 bg. Once every unit achieved the same achievement like Dream, then we can say that NCT as a whole is the top 3 bg. I’m not saying 127 and WayV can’t achieve what Dream can.

I used to listen to Super Junior and Girls Generation all the time (they are 2nd generation right?). But now if I go back and listen to their old songs again, it's just really feel outdated. Especially after listening to so many experimental songs from Red Velvet and NCT.
