The important thing is that the newer acts will take some time to be accepted among the people in the 30s , and with BTS inactive, some of the women will look for newer boy acts.
While Lee Jieun will firmly maintain her existing grip and expand a little among younger fans.
So she is likely to beat any newer acts in the overall polls.

Actually what we have seen time and again is that Korean males are the most fickle people that's why IU hasn't won this poll for 2 consecutive years ever and female acts landscape changes every year....

IU beat SNSD decisively on 2014, by a margin of 0.3% or so, by attacking it very hard when SNSD was shocked by the Jessica Jung mess and so forth.

If she had attacked BTS on the summer, releasing a couple of new singles before her concert, she would have been #1 but I think she refrained because she judged BTS would return with a vengeance in 2025.
IU was more active than BTS in 2021 and still couldn't beat them. Actually lost by bigger margin than anyone else ever has. IU doing or not doing something wasn't gonna change the result of this poll. This poll has been here for 13 years and IU has won only 2 time while BTS have won it 5 consecutive years.....

You probably should have read the next two lines I wrote afterwards because I somewhat I answered this question there. You can't be reading and taking out just one sentence you can reply to from a paragraph because paragraphs exist for a reason.....
But you are talking here as if they deleted the guild section altogether lol.... It seems you have problem with akorns not being rewarded for your posts rather than having a place to hype your faves because those things are actually not dependent on each other if you think about it.....
Anyways like I said above, I think of forums as discussion places, not some sort of community. And I have been using them since 2014 with the same mindset so my idea of forums probably doesn't align with you guys who use forums as communities. So honestly you will be wasting time talking to me. Talk to people that matter if you want changes. Because whatever the changes they won't affect how I move here. I just chimed in because I was tagged and I kinda suggested this idea to ripia some months ago. That's it....

I personally think of forums as discussion places where I can drop by anytime to talk about things that I want to so I honestly don't care about this forum like most people who are regular here but I can understand your decision.....
I think this will help this forum become more genuine than it was starting to become in the last year or so. From financial standpoint, even though there will be lesser purchases, they will be genuine because people actually wanted to make them. From activity standpoint, even though it will slightly reduce, people will post because they really want to talk about the topic and not just because they can get an "akorn". The forum as a whole was starting to become kinda spammy because those who were more focused on akorns found out ways to get them by spamming certain places so it was also lessening the "traffic" everywhere else. I understand the introduction of "akorns" but you guys let them become too much of a focus for almost everyone on the forum. So it is good that they will become less of a focus I feel with the changes. I can understand your this decision Ves and all the best....
