This reminded me of another BTS Christmas song collaboration with 2AM Jo Kwon and other former BigHit artists 8Eight Joohee and Lim Jeonghee....

This was released just before 'A Typical Idol's Christmas'. That's why I guess RM & Jungkook are only in the chorus there while other members are omnipresent throughout the song.....

Actually this is wrong. The song that was released on 23rd December 2013, 9 years ago today, was 'A Typical Idol's Christmas'. This one below :

In this one they are talking about how they are feeling after debuting on the first Christmas as artists.....

'A Typical Trainee's Christmas' (the one you posted above) is a pre debut song which was released on the 11th January 2013. Both are two different songs created using two different samples....

This is unarguably BTS the biggest and most important market but still it is just one country....

BTS are arguably the most popular act in Japan.... Because how can you do stuff that historically even local acts have rarely done? They are #1 earning act in Japan in 2022 just through sales and streams, in a year they barely released anything. And it isn't like they toured in Japan (I mean they would have been easy #1 if they had toured because they can easily gross at the very least $100m from their Japan leg). So it is kinda mind-blowing how big BTS is in Japan. GOAT.
