RM has written every single word of 'Mono' (the best solo album by a Korean artist) all by himself and has also composed all the songs alongside the producer of the song.

No need to say anything else about his songwriting skills because this album is enough to show he is the best songwriter k-pop has.

Just listen to 'Mono' once and you will get what I am saying here.

'Stigma' is enough to show his vocal range.

Better dance wise? Probably yes. It is same as saying "3rd gen" are better dancers than "2nd gen". Because dancing has only improved in kpop over the years so no point made by saying this in the OP.

Better performance wise? Clearly no.

Because most of these "4th gen" groups don't even perform live. They need to start performing live to out perform the previous "generations".

My guess is that they'll come back when fans are allowed for attending the music shows.

This is also one of the reasons why I think they didn't promote 'Dynamite' & 'Life Goes On' in Korea at all. You can see when watching 'ON's music show stages, they don't like performing without fans there. I mean you get what I am saying, right?

This is just my guess. They might make an announcement tomorrow.

Seriously though BTS was literally built around him. He's been involved in almost every single BTS song. And BTS' songs are their biggest identity.

Not a fan of both. Music wise they both are at the same level for me. Ateez have better title tracks imo but Stray kids have atleast 1-2 songs on their albums that I may like (meanwhile I can't say the same for Ateez) so no differentiator in terms of music.

But Ateez guys are better performers. So my vote is for them.

Edit : Also I have heard Ateez sing live while performing more times than Stray Kids which is a big factor nowadays since most of these new groups don't sing live or sing over a very loud backtrack.

I knew treasure fans were childish but these kids are rude. Wow! Never came across them because never clicked on Treasure's threads but had some idea about them because of their fights with other fandoms.

Okay this was a good one. But felt like just another song tbh. Nothing stood out to me except the baseline.

So many good things are happening since the beginning of March for BTS, it is really difficult to keep up.

It is mostly about music.

Yes there are many other factors but they don't play as big roles as we think they do.

We can make many analogies as to why a particular gender or race or country or else likes this more than that but it is all about music in the end.

I mean I kind of knew they're gonna be the best performance of the night beforehand so no surprise for me.

I mean people here have habit of dictating what others should do but mods should know what these users are trying to do here and preferably delete there comments which are not in relation of this thread because there are more comments which are talking about the topic of this thread.

I have stopped giving a damn about award shows since 2009 and only take them as acknowledgement for the artists for the work they do and nothing else.

Not saying my opinion is the best opinion but fans need to stop taking these award shows seriously and look at them as just another ceremony.

It's fans who give these award shows hype and hence media hype them even more.

It's all about fans in the end and fans need to realise what awards are and meant to be. Just an acknowledgement for the work you do.

What I don't get is why are people celebrating?

Users on this forum are very weird and really need to sort themselves out.
