Erm aespa have already done Tokyo Dome as a barely 3 year old group and that is not even their strongest market, I'm not sure why some are so quick to count 4th gen out. Who knows what the likes of NewJeans who are far bigger could pull off

Records are meant to be to be broken, it will take time just like it took time for TWICE/BP to get to where they are now

IVE need to just go back to their ethereal sound they had with their first like 3 comebacks, I don't know why they ditched that for songs like *checks notes* Baddie. Like why fix something that's not broke

They got lucky with I AM but the overall trend is not in their favor

I think they're kind of like a male Red Velvet. On the other hand a group like SKZ stay true to their image more which leads to louder/more organized fans etc

Sugar Rush Ride actually had great reception (with me included) and if iirc was very close to entering the Hot100 at some point so I doubt that was the problem, on the other hand Chasing That Feeling is very meh. It's all dependent on various factors imo

Yeah it's ITZY. There always seems to be a double standard with them, when they mature it's "they need to go back to their old sound" but when they go back to their old sound it's "they need to mature"

I think Jennie overall is bigger, but Hwasa benefits from her not releasing as constantly and/or promoting solo. Yeah 3rd gen is kinda a lost cause in general when it comes to successful solos.

I Love My Body had a cute time in the top10 but it was nowhere near You & Me which was unpromoted top3 hit, much less her peaks like Maria and Twit. I'm a B & Somebody kinda flopped as well

PAKs are also all about timing as well and are not really indicative of overall success, there is no planet where that Refurbished Sisters song is bigger than Solo has it had horrible longevity compared to it's peak

Through The Night sneaking into the 19-29 range 7 years after release is the real shock here
