its a song he released a year ago featuring CLand zico. Kpop fans hyped that song a lot because they thought he was shading a particular group.

oh the whole kpop fans were supporting him when "Rosario" dropped. what happend now?

Can anyone explain to me why BP or any Kpop group needs to "speak up" on racism against Asians when they live in a country that is 99.9% Asian? Lisa is the only one that experiences hate (from Koreans) but this aint even racism since Thais and Koreans are both Asian. Unless they experienced racism in their US or Europe tour dates, they literally never interact regularly with non Asians.
I said the same thing when woke Army was turning on BTS for ignoring BLM. I was like are they freaking stupid? What does BTS have to do with white cops murdering black Americans in broad daylight? If Kpop bands are now responsible for social causes in the US because American fans "buy their music", why the fuck arent American celebrities being held responsible for speaking up about social causes in Korea? After all, Koreans consume a lot of American music, TV, movies, etc that are lining the pockets of these celebrities.
Totally agree. People never held western artists responsible for speaking up about Asian hate like the way they did with kpop groups especially BTS.
Not just armys it was the whole kpop fans who were writing think pieces on why BTS should speak and donate for BLM because they're all benefiting off black culture. And most of them were directly dragging BTS because they're the biggest group and UNICEF ambassadors. But after their statement and donation ( which they donated days before even making a public statement) every outrage stopped and next complaint was that's a PR stunt ( BTS can never get a break).
I personally think it is good when celebrities with a platform show their support for any kind of social issues. They have the power to influence people and they should use it.
But the way some people dragged BTS for not speaking on Asian hate was never right because BTS themselves are the victims of Asian hate. The victims don't have to speak about it unless they want to. I really hate it when kpop fans became all woke when it's a chance to drag BTS.
The same way NONE of these kpop groups have to speak of Asian hate unless they want to. They're Asians themselves and it's time for Non-asians to show their support.

Because kpop fans often forget there are certain criterias for getting the awards when its comes to BTS.
Bwl had no competition actually.
Dynamite had with IU's blueming because Dynamite was a late release.
I think Armys are the only fandom who understand the criterias because before dynamite released they knew ON wouldn't get SOTY and was anticipating daesangs except for SOTY.
It has been an annual thing for kpop fans to root for anything against BTS to win and cry about how these shows are rigged when BTS wins.
BTS' fake love didn't get any soty on MMA,MAMA,AAA etc but won at KMAs which is the most prestigious award show in Korea based on quality and quality only. I'm damn sure Kpop fans would've got mad and said underserved if Fake love had won soty on other award shows.

Army is the best fandom who use their organizing power for a lot of good causes.

Isn't this all fandoms do? Bragging about their favs achivements this is not limited to kpop fans.
For BTS' case the timing was very funny tbh. The same week when others shaded them for not having any fashion endorsements 😂
Seriously, how can anybody convince themselves that not having any fashion endorsement is a thing to drag? We're talking about BTS here, the most influential artists out there. Every brands want to get associate with them. The only possible reasons they're not doing these endorsements are either they don't want to or the brands couldn't afford them as a whole.
Honestly I don't really care about any of these endorsements except McDonald's deal because thats the only thing I could ever afford 😁

Considering the Melon streams and ULs its very obvious Armys are not mass streaming.
Kokobop and spring day has almost same number of streams but there's a huge difference in ULs.
Kokobop - 770M + with 3.9M ULs
Springday - 740M+ with 7M ULs
Considering the streams and UL's BTS have many hits there Fire,BST,Spring day,DNA,Fake love, Idol,BWL and Dynamite.
BTS have both fandom power and GPs interest.

That's definitely not happening. They weren't happy to perform even one song without yoongi, a whole concert without one member would be impossible for them.
-
Their relevancy is different than the second or third generation groups’ one. Their fanbase is international and some boy groups are already pulling huge physical sales.
Yes the fanbase international now but still they're not that good at international streaming platforms either
Even after billboards introduced global 200 and excluding US charts groups aren't charting as expected.

Weverse is a useful platform for virtual cconcerts too. This is available in more countries than YouTube. So I think BP's next concerts could be on weverse.
