Personally for me it wasn’t serious. But I learnt from his fans that he was an alcoholic and needs help so I hope he gets it.

No, it's not. It's literally like comparing two pictures that you take with two different phones, for example. You can see the difference in quality!
You can like the iPhone one better or the Samsung version, but if you look at it as a PROFESSIONAL, you will see the real differences! That's what I'm talking about! What you're saying is just TASTE! Personal taste has nothing to do with quality!
Except you don’t get to decide which is the iPhone and which is the Samsung. Because you know jack shit about music lol.

No. These CEO’s never do.

I don’t think they ever had any powerhouse singers and I don’t think the ones leaving are so far superior to the rest of HYBE to warrant this thread lol.

He just likes to be loudly wrong all the time. Harping about good music while he knows nothing about it and displays it quite often.

Music is only subjective when we're talking about which song we like the most.
I'm talking about the actual quality of the song.
For example, I love Armageddon (the song) MUCH better than Supernova, BUT Love Wins All was a better produced song.
Supernova may be a bigger hit than LWA, but Armageddon as an ALBUM is not better than The Winning! On IU's album, there's only 5 songs, and pretty much all of those are better than any song on Armageddon.

I don't think it's laughable that a SOLOIST pulled better numbers than a mainstream group. Gidle and Aespa only have a big advantage on Spoti and YT!
No it’s not. IU’s song production has always been extremely mid. She’s like Taylor swift in that people resonate with her pop lyrics but she’s the lowest common denominator and that’s why she appeals to such a broad crowd in Korea.

What I’m surprised about these days is how fans are not talking about their favs? Or rather they’re not doing so on AKP
I mean talking about the interviews and behind the scenes and reality shows and what not. The memes and jokes and shipping and fun stuff
What I find interesting is how forums are no longer a place for fan interaction.
This wasn’t always the case I remember back in 2016 or some where we used to have pages of such discussion perhaps now a days Twitter or discord or somewhere else is where ppl discuss their favs and not AKP.

Makes sense. Since you don’t know much about what’s important and what’s not when discussing groups success lol.

There's no time honored tradition quite like a bunch of blue pilled K-Pop stans' inability to distinguish the difference between a group having a massive fandom and a group being massively popular with the general public.
I've been breaking down and thoroughly explaining the nuances of this dichotomy, both respectfully and disrespectfully at times, since the third generation first kicked off.
The struggle will never end.
This is not relevant internationally.
And if you think it is, you don’t know much about kpop and overestimate it’s importance overseas

Yes, they are.
Also, I disagree with the narrative about treating fandom as a separated category to popularity here, especially when the artist is on an upward trajectory and even said fandom is still growing massively. One day, fans were general public too. No one was born their fan. They are reaching a new audience consistently, the difference to them for some others is that the audience stays.
Their public being big in several markets where K-pop doesn't that much of a big support in comparison to their backbones just adds to this fact.
It’s just a coping mechanism I wouldn’t take those people seriously. Internationally ALL Kpop fans are niche. No GP is listening to Kpop other than some maybe viral songs
