Just a comment.
I think this thread is a bit unfair to girl groups. It could have been better to look at records girl groups have held at some point in time. SNSD had many records for their era, they were on the same level with boy groups, even when it came to physicals. Wonder Girls set records. Current girl groups dont have that many records, because BTS takes them all.
The situation isnt really that dire that all girl groups would have are records like "most streams on a wednesday night at 10 oclock", if BTS was considered an outlier like they are, the playing field for boy and girl groups would be more equal.
- SNSD having the best selling album 2 years in a row (2010 and 2011) as well as;
This isnt a record, BTS has had the best selling album 5 years in a row.

lol i was talking about rookies :D not established idols with giant fanbases.
But remember, Big 3 had dozens of groups over the past 20 years, huge groups like EXO, Twice, SNSD, RV, 2PM, BigBang, 2NE1, etc.
Only BP managed to chart in BU as rookies and in Hot 100 as a 2 year old group.
And what kind of US promo did they have? I dont remember seeing vids of them setting foot in the US in 2017 or even 2018 when D4 came out. Their first talk show appearance was late 2018 early 2019 IIRC.
BP was promoted before debut as well and came from big3. They dont have that record and thats it.
Fastest from debut arent even real records, they only show the level of privilege a group has.

Superm charted faster on bubbling under, with their debut. Big3 spending lots of money can make anyone chart in 2 weeks.

Black Swan was the BTs track that deserved better... congrats for Dynamite but wayyy overplayed.
Dynamite isnt overplayed, it didnt even get the radio play it should have based on its perfomance on charts.

Dynamite outsurviving WAP everywhere, AM, Spotify, Youtube is especially nice, it caused us so much anxiety.
