Jeez its not 1990s anymore😂
I'm delulu like that

Its okay to keep hopes low . So end result is more joyful
10M is low for me
-
I want a 6 million selling album .
I predict 10M for 4 vers and normal pricing
-
Oh i meant with normal pricing
Problem is, we don't know that. With the success of BE I won't be surprised if Bighit pull that kind of move again (hopefully they won't).

last yeat they sold like 11 million albums
This year they have sold 2 million on catalog. Add japanese album and further catalog sales
They will be around 4 million atleast with them
So if they had one cb, i think they will sell around 5 to 6 million
Do u think they will top 10 million mark this year again?
And 40 million overall in pure sales
Depends, if it's something like BE, idt it will reach 5-6M

2AM-Can't Let You Go Even If I Die (SOTY Daesang winner on GDA 2010)

I am a ONCE but let's not act like a lot of people in our fandom didn't make fun of SNSD when TWICE became the top GG and NGG, both ONCEs and SONEs have some rotten apples in their fandoms and i remember a lot of people in my fandom calling SNSD grandmas and provoking SONEs and SONEs already had big egos so they were easy to bait into arguments that were wars back then
Lol, and it just happened
Lol, TWICE has sold over 10 MILLION albums and counting. TWICE just debuted in the top 5 on Billboard 200 (SNSD never accomplished this). It isn't even close where TWICE has come and will continue to elevate. The Grandma's were pretty good.

2nd gen
- The most popular Kpop Gen among Korean GP
- As a whole, they're the strongest Kpop gen in Japanese market up this date, a lot of 2nd gen group have a big following in Japan (TVXQ, Bigbang, KARA, SNSD, SJ, 2PM, etc), while 3rd gen are being hard carried by BTS and Twice (also maybe Seventeen to some extent).
- They're the one who opened Kpop market in SEA
Also might be controversial
- If BTS didn't exist, 2nd gen would be the peak of Kpop both domestically and internationally imo.
-
How they manage to balance their popularity in the US, Japan, and their Home Country imo. I think they are the first Kpop act who manage to do so. Even among 3rd gen group, if you pay attention, you'll notice how the one who are doing good in west are not making that much noise in Japan, and vice versa.

I'm an Army but, Bigbang is the biggest imo (or at least during their peak). And I'm not just talking abt chart performance, but legacy as well. For years YG are known as "the company the public can trust", and it reflected by how their rookie groups always smashing the chart right on their debut. Imo, all/most of that are thanks to Bigbang success.

TVXQ was popular in southeast asia from 2007-2009 but now they are only known for korea and japan
Can't speak for others, but in my country SNSD-Gee and SJ-Sorry Sorry was the one who open the Kpop gate. Them along with drama like 'Full House' and 'Boys Over Flowers' was the one who truly started Hallyu Wave in my country. I don't even think TVXQ was popular among Kpop fans here tbh.

I just finished watching Festa and RM specifically said 2015-2017 was tough and so many people hate them at that time. So, I guess BTS also feel the same way abt those years. It's still amazing tho, that year was truly the beginning of their journey to the top (which might explain all the hate they got).
