1 million first week might just happen
-
Also here is the total sales from all the C-bars of Zerobaseone (158k atm)
Haobin Bar's sales being so high will always make me laugh haha. Has a ship's fandom ever been so proactive with sales?

I know a lot of Japanese fans are already planning to go (they even flew to Korea for the BP Finale and CGV screenings). I hope they get tickets!
-
And to think his popularity in China only really kicked in AFTER BP's finale, meaning all this fandom was mostly accumulated within 2 months. Insane.

So Shuhua's show isn't new, it's actually Season 2 of an existing super-popular variety show called Workman that used to be hosted by Jang Sang Kyu. It was/is produced by JTBC and was so popular that each episode would easily get over 5 million views in a week and even EXO appeared in an episode as a full group.
Shuhua is basically taking over the host spot of an already huge web show (as evidenced by the fact that the channel has nearly 4 million subscribers). Ofc she's doing well so people will tune in, but she's had a headstart. It's like someone taking over Hangout with Yoo - people will tune in because they like the show.
Rei's show was created from scratch by Starship as a gift to fans when she was on hiatus. They're not the same.

With two versions and less than 48 hours of pre-orders!

in classic twitter fashion i'll ask the important question
is it good?Pretty good! Especially considering they only have two versions, it's been less than 48 hours since pre-orders opened, and most of the fandom is purchasing from Makestar and Chinese sites instead.

No, but they're about to. Kim Nam Joon about to hit 'em with Smooth Like Butter. .
Anyways, on a serious note. I think it'll be fun, the girls would probably start complain to the new leader of what their old leader used to do. 'Yujin nags all the time! she didn't read my msg, she shower with shoes on!' lmao.
Honestly if anything, they need to bring back shows like Xman, Loveletter, FO and etc. Now THAT'S content.
Bring back Star Golden Bell and Crime Scene pls. So many idols got popular off of those shows.

Depends group-by-group and company-by-company. In many groups, leaders are in charge of making sure the group greets well, are well-behaved, go through all stages etc properly. That's why leaders are often the ones to get scolded when things go south or when the group gets into trouble (case in point: SHINee recently said that Onew would get asked 'do you want to get scolded separately or as a group' by SM management when the group messed up).
Leaders are also the liaison between the group and the management. Namjoon himself spoke about how leaders are sometimes the only members to sit in on meetings with the higher ups etc. If the group has any complaints, terms etc, the leaders are usually the ones that convey it to the management.
In some groups, they're also in-charge of keeping peace and making sure personal issues don't affect their stages.
Apink Chorong was in-charge of making sure all the members do well on stage despite not being the main dancer just because she was the leader.
That's why you see so many members thanking their leaders and empathizing over how hard their role is. Sure, they aren't doing actual management work like Team Leaders in corporate settings, but they still have more responsibility than other group members.

I was planning to fly to Korea for the concert but I didn't get tickets

Idol School was rigged from the first elimination lol. Several trainees have spoken about how the final girls were apparently offered artist contracts right from Episode 1.

If Pledis NBG has James and JJ like the rumors say, then they're set for international popularity.
Also are we sure SMNBG isn't debuting this year? SungTaro can put up a big fight too
-
Big Hit amping up in-house variety production, live streams, personal communication etc for BTS because they weren't getting invited to variety shows. Genius, and really changed the way idols promote.
For others, SM's strategy of just dropping SHINee after one article and one teaser photo in the same article lol. It can backfire, but worked for them because their song was so good.

???? what is THIS, are we really getting almost an entire month of teasers?

I’m a bit scared after Kep1er honestly. I know they need to have a good music but Wake One management is unreliable. And I want to know what ZB1 needs in particular to chart well as well as is there a possibility that ZB1 will be the rookie of the year??
ZB1 just needs good music tbh. Their mission songs charted decently enough (Say My Name did quite well by 4th Gen standards) so the fandom streaming power is somewhat there, they need a good song to pull them through - something safe that appeals to everyone.
They will have competition from Pledis NBG and SMNBG and both those companies are known for creating good debut songs and concepts so we'll see.
