Casually went back to the first thread on the day this all broke out. Very eye opening now

Hybe levied accusations at min HeeJin with no proof (media campaigns against artists, pressuring parents, leaking contract information, leaking private photos of trainees, leaking medical information etc) and it was enough for users to rally and demand her head on a stake. And for some, it's been a driving force for nearly a year to justify everything done by hybe, even at the expense of others.

Meanwhile, Hybe has done all of these things. In the public eye. To NJZ. And yet that's not good enough reason for them to leave to those same some.

Yeah yeah. I can almost feel the collective groan when people read this thread title, but I just want some AKP data on where the board stands on the most divisive topic of the month (in all of K-Pop, not just here).

If you think they are copycats, PLEASE give reasons why. Be explicit.

Because I've listened to enough NewJeans to be in the top 0.1% of listeners and I simply DON'T HEAR IT. And I've played Magnetic A LOT.

I will never tolerate anyone in here trying to reframe and revise the narrative and history circulating around ILLIT's debut.

Do NOT try it while I'm present in any discussion. As I've said, I'm the person who argued the most that ILLIT was NOT a copycat, and I was in the MINORITY with that opinion.

I welcome everyone to read through that thread and stop trying to gaslight Bunnies about the vast majority of people who found similarities between the two groups.

Also BELIFT STOLE THE PLANNING DOCUMENT FOR NEWJEANS.

That is all.

This doesn't mean I think ILLIT deserve to be ridiculed or bullied. In fact, again, I was the first one to make an impassioned post asking for people to extend compassion and grace towards them, when the first couple of Megathreads started.

However, we have to be able to identify and discuss the nuances of these numerous cases, and I can compartmentalize "ILLIT are innocent" and "Belift are shameless, lying scumbags".

Isn't funny how Illit's angriest "advocates" were the loudest about how they were a NewJeans copy because it somehow meant NewJeans wasn't special and easily replaceable? Or how they were creating conspiracies to put down Magnetics success and their brand deals because of "Hybe payola"?

The only reason these users "care" now is to run a narrative that Newjeans are bullies. Had this not happened, they'd still be running the same tired old shit on Illit that they were on NewJeans. It's laughable

2 definitions: people who tend to support many/most/all acts that come out of a company. Following trainees, staff accounts etc

People that legitimately stan the company, project parasocial ideals on them and defend them at all costs.

Most prominent of the 2nd that I've seen are SM and Hybe stans. YG stans made themselves scare long ago

Because Attrak terminated their contracts outright after keena came back. All that had to be determined were damages

We have 2 differing parties that can't agree on the contract status, fault and damages have to be determined as well
