This is the best possible outcome for NJ I think and makes me feel at peace
MHJ will keep the group creativity and promotions and Hybe won't dare to keep the group at bay for very long
That's a huge win for NJ and NJ fans

LOL, Tic really hit you in the nerve in the other thread
This has been the reality of this board for at least the last 3 years
I believe with the obvious decrease in popularity their few sane fans left the forum, and the insane ones like Rand and TheBitter are all that left. Those onces left have nothing to lose (as Twice is experiencing their final downward popularity trend, understandable since they are such an old group), hence they can attack and troll every single group they find even remotely threatening
This year they already attacked LSRF, NJ and even G Idle (don't ask me why)
bubble gum finally debuted
How Sweet got a new peak too
'How Sweet' by NewJeans reaches a new peak of #81 (+57) on Global Spotify with 1.57M streams
This is the last update
The doom and gloom is mostly made by 3rd gen stans who were salty and pressed even with the possibility of their faves being surpassed for 4th grn
4th gen GG stans have been (un)suprisingly more realistic, as they have experienced fist-hand that ups and downs are part of the career path of 4th Gen GGs (granted nobody was expecting a decline for NJ before all the MHJ x Hybe drama started)
The decline of Chinese sales affected them the most
Yeah NJ is over
They are not the focus of their own doom-thread anymore, we're back to discuss BP payola allegations it seems
For female idols I think it's a fair battle, but I'm more inclined to say 3rd gen. It's more that 3rd gen talent is somehow locked behind unsuccessful groups, which tends to be overlooked
For male idols is 3rd gen by far. All relevant 3rd gen Boygroup are talented as fuck
They are avoiding saturation due to have way too many hit songs released very closely
I'm not going to elaborate further because I'm not in the moody of picking fights atm
But it has mostly to do to what attracted those fans into to fandom in the first place
In the case of Twice I think a small part of the fandom come to them because they found a particular member attractive (I'm not talking about how they look, but attractive here understand "I want to be your fan"), whereas for BTS and BP many fans were drawn specifically because of 1-2 members and learned how to like their interactions with other members rather than being fans of the other members themselves
And it's not exactly a subproduct of individual activities, as this is a well observable case even when the group only promotes together
BOP, their best song yet
I do care in the sense I'm aware they need a minimum level of success to keep getting quality content and budget, and I'm also self aware companies have certain expectations that need to be met, not meeting such expectations the group will just be quickly replaced or becoming a non priority inside the company
But otherwise I don't give a damn about my favorite groups being the top sellers or anything alike. If my group is popular enough to have long term stable careers with a good influx of quality content I don't really care whether or not other groups sells more
