You guys don't have to worry about positive threads being "setups" or anything like that. Posts that drag or bash in an anon appreciation thread are generally not approved.
Despite its notorious reputation, current Anons is still the most regulated section of the forum. Mods do a great job with this. The vilest and most disturbing comments are filtered out.
If there's anything good about Anons, it's that people could discuss and debate while focusing on the points being made, not who a user is or what fandom they belong to. At least that's my hope. I'm just trying to see the silver lining in all of this.

I also keep saying this:
Anons is full of nugu users who exclusively use Anons; they don't want to be part of the main forum for various reasons. I've even talked to some of them. You wouldn't recognize their names.
