Actually swimming hurts my shoulders pretty quickly, but I do like being by the pool/beach!

i really hate swimming and all places that involve getting in the water. i can enjoy it if it doesn't mean i have to swim though.

In pools, yes. I was in a swim team when I was younger.
In the ocean, not so much

Only in places where my feet can touch the bottom, or I know I can get to an edge or something to grab onto quickly.

Not that I would want to, any outdoor pool is automatically disgusting, with the amount of germs they'll collect, not to mention the bugs.
The ocean is twice as worse though, with it's entire ecosystem,that shits in it daily.
