4th gen groups/idols with biggest Chinese fandom. Are you surprised?

This is the list of Chinese fanbases for 4th gen groups/idols that preorder the most albums. Are you surprised at anything? I thought Itzy would be here. Maybe they need to secure more Chinese fans for better sales. pasted-from-clipboard.png

I’m surprised because bighit groups were never known to make much noise in China. Yeonjun & Soobin both in top 10 is crazy.

I'm not surprised Yuqi she is chinese but G idle are into their 4th year

But V has one of the biggest Chinese fanbases tho? And Jungkook/Jimin Chinese fans go hard too. Hybe may not have as many idols be popular in China as SM but they always have one at least in the group that’s very popular.

This is not representative of the current fanbase. Aespa members are on top especially NingNing. NingNing fanbase in china has skyrocketed since Savage which released 7 months ago.

I'm surprised at the overall numbers. The way people boasted about the chinese fanbases I thought they were at least hauling 100k a pop but it looks like 4th gen chinese fanbases are far far behind that of third en fanbases. Or does this have to do with the recent restrictions China put on fanbases?

do chinese fanbases support taiwanese or hongkongers idol ? ( tzuyu, shuhua, vivi, etc )

Sakura has already surpassed yeonjun now iirc. she has even surpassed Rosé's cbar.

this is such a big misconception. Bts has the biggest contributing cbars & they do make noise in China. It's just in comparison with how bts are doing in other countries (and bc of the constant targetting by a certain part of cnets), they are less succesful there. it is true that hybe doesn't focus on China, so any succes there is pretty impressive, which is why the notion "bh groups/bts never known to make much noise in china" when they are one of the topgroups there, is false.

Looks like girls are winning, yeonjun might be on top but because bgs get fanbases like 5 times easier than ggs his numbers aren’t that impressive. I think the girls probably got a lot more casuals and attention all around

This doesn’t represent the current one because Twitter tweeted Ningning has the highest cbar/ fanbase for 4th gen followed by Winter then Sakura/Karina/Wy

Those numbers hardly reflect the reality because of the time difference. I believe Aespa members' C-bars have expanded more since their last comeback. They will top the list when they comeback for sure because these numbers look close to each other.

pretty sure in the next aespa cb, winter or karina bar will outdo

This is the list of bars with the most album purchased and V secured top 2 positions and now sakura became biggest 4th gen girl in China and along with yeonjun as the biggest 4th gen boy. I think that pushed hybe to invest more in China..

Like i already said in a previous thread, I think what people seem to forget is that

all the people on the list reached this numbers after doing multiple comeback

txt boys reached this number after their 4th comeback same for Gidle

while Sakura and Wonyoung got such strong cbar after promoting 2 years with Izone and in solo before debuting in their new group

Aespa members are already in the top 7 of the biggest Cbar just thanks to their DEBUT MINI ALBUM i think it's a good proof that Aespa cbar are some crazy cbar and the cbar with the biggest potential because they are able to compete in just 6 months with all the other cbar of 4th gen

Yuqi's no longer the representative numbers person for Idle (since her bar has been on boycott for like a year now)

Actually internms of follower it's sakura> wonyoung>karina>ningning>winter....sakura gain the most follower after lessarefim and ningning surpass winter after savage.
