Sm is a heaven for visuals idols

    They train them so well, they are most of the time really good vocalist. Give them center position and fotg. They're never jobless.

    Because Siwon, Yoona, Minho, Sulli, Sehun, Irene and Taeyong are all known for their good vocals? SM is more known for visual "rappers".


    Agree that SM often pushes the visuals and uses them as centers and fotg more often than YG and JYP.

    I don’t think so. Sm makes their visuals rappers often, because they lack vocal skills in comparison with the other members. Sm rappers are bad, even worse than jyp rappers most of the time

    Quite a few of the ones you mentioned actually aren't bad vocalists considering their visual/rapper/subvocal positions (obviously not good enough to be lead or main, and never talked about in terms of vocals because there are multiple others in their respective groups with far better vocals).


    I think what OP meant was that they generally get a long period of decent vocal teaching so that they at least have basic foundations and most have shown they can hold a tune (before the near-always lip sync era of the last couple of years anyway), not that they're the best vocalists

    Yup in other groups visuals are only there while sm visuals get to carry the songs. Sm makes good use of their visual members in singing, dancing, acting and brand endorsement department.

    Any average person that debuts in SM will be hailed as a visual by SM stans. Their actual visuals like Irene or Sull い aren't known for their vocals.

    Yeah and idols from other companies don't do ps. Just look at giselle's photos from Coachella she looks the same as before she just lose weight prob.     It's Sungchan and Shotaro for short. They debuted in NCT2020 but have since not been added/debuted in their own subunit. Shotaro is a really good dancer and Sungchan is a rapper.
