Which idols feel done with idol life?

    Which idols do you feel lose their interest for the idol life and is just being an idol mostly out of obligation/for money?

    Obvious one is Jennie. She bought a house in LA. She's got an eye on the exit. Not necessarily from being a pop star but from being a kpop star.

    In before everyone here names the pinks

    minju obviously, she rejects being in lesserafim because she wanted to lay low

    d.o - he's more into acting

    chaeyoung , she's just counting the days until she can leave


    echoing jennie im gonna say rose too. tbh i don't think rose is completly comfortable in korea...she might feel more like herself in australia or in the u.s. jennie to a lesser extent too


    i used to think this about bts v and jk but i think they're slowly transitioning out of being idols and more into being just celebrities

    We never know our idols. I remember back when these kind of thread were filled with Tae(V) but it's interesting how that has changed and ges been glowing these days :pepe-popcorn:

    i really agree

    all of bts have gone through some huge change this year

    they seem to be in a very good place mentally & seem very confident in who they are and what they have achieved. Jk and tae expecially are glowing and comfortable. can't wait to see them in the next cb!

    They definitely want to be known as more than just an idol


    JK - wants to become singer who can make an impact. He's also Interested in acting but his schedule doesn't allow him to.


    V - he's transitioning into more of an musician. I can see him doing a comeback as an actor.

    V gives me a vibe that he's more than just an idol. I see him becoming more like those indie artists.

    I don't get people who mention bp? They stopped being the usual idol long ago, they are more like ww celebrities. Sure they might not renew with yg but because their contract gave little freedom not because the "idol life"
