Question about background check of trainees

I don't think entertainment company would have the right to ask police or even school about personal data of kids...
this is why I said in the past that there should be some comitee under Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism / Ministry of Health and Werfare, and they should check such things, as well as living conditions in the dorms etc

I think they do some basic checks for the trainees that have a chance of debuting (like social media etc) but it's not like they gonna interview every person they've ever talked to

Hmm don't think companies can 100% know everything
Best thing for trainees to do is disclose everything they think might possibly come out to the company pre-debut. You may end up getting cut or you may just get support in handling the situation so it's all settled before your announcement.
Either way it's better than debuting then being like oh yh btw I used to be a lil mean...some ppl may pop up now they've heard I've debuted...

its quite lax here in my country
