    However today's world is kinda interconnected , as you have said, and although there are boycotts international Armys still exist no matter where the border is.


    Given that BTS has achieved such universality, it will be harder to find someone who will overdo them until there is such a huge paradigm change again.


    IU was already topping Korea's chart when BTS had debuted so she has not learned to respect it, but she will probably be the last who would still refuse to recognize its superiority.

    Even within today's context, to claim "universality" of BTS is as nonsensical as the "international boycott" of Russia.

    The people who don't know anything about BTS, or if they know the name know nothing of their music will far outnumber the people who do in the world.

    Your claims suck of the Western exceptionalism, that if known by the West, that is all that is need.


    BTS definitely have the renown which grown along with the growth in interconnectivity.


    But that is just numbers in a specific scale. To use that to bandy terms like vanquish, superiority etc., is just loony tunes.


    So nope, they are vanquishing no one and neither is everyone going to accept their superiority.


    Keep annoying them and they might use your own argument against you, that BTS haven't defeated one act in their own home-ground..

    I think people misunderstand what whyknock is trying to say. He said bigger acts in the past had competitors( even though I think MJ blew everyone out of the water). But BTS is big because they blow their competitions out of the water too. Cspc units+ tourings+ sales+ influence etc. I agree that currently BTS has no competition and even ChartMasters said that BTS is the biggest act to debut in the 2010s.

    Like all these singers who coddle bts and try to curry favor from it, as seen in yesterday's grammys.

    and despite of BTS' world conquest she appears to see them as her junior whom she can vanquish, at least in Korea, at will.


    Which has led herself singing Eight with Suga's part all cut, effectively declaring a war against BTS, and showing her defiance to the entire world.

    Why should she not see them as Juniors, when they are her Juniors and they as well acknowledge her as their Sunbaenim.. And stop using vanquished.. no such thing.


    And it not just Suga's part she has sung, when on her own - she does the same with Palette filling for G-Dragon, has sung NSLoCB without High4, MCIA without Thunder etc.
