Does Nmixx not have a “filler” member like most groups?

Blackpink has Jisoo, Bts has Jin, Aespa has Giselle, Red Velvet has Yeri,… seems like everyone groups have one member where people are not sure if they’re contributing as much to the groups as others. Is Nmixx free from filler members?

Yes they do. Just because all members can sing or and dance doesn't nake them not filler. Fillers don't just mean members who don't stand out or noticeable contribute to the groups success but also for members who are redundant.

Nmixx don't need all that vocals or whatever.

.Sullyoon is a visual and vocal, Jinni a visual and dancer or something like that, Lily main vocal, and plus Kyujin, because she seems to be the only other nmixx member people are aware of. Those four are good to form their own group.

The other members are skilled too and whatever but if they were to get out of the group the group wouldn't be short of anything. They are just unnecessary filler members.

Lily & Haewon are the main vocals, Sullyoon & Jinni are the visuals, Kyujin has the center dance presence and Jiwoo is the best rapper

Bae is the 2nd weakest dancer and a weak singer too, she's mostly known for being tall. I don't think she gets as much visual hype as Sullyoon/Jinni so that doesn't count.

What's the actual number of members a group needs to be fully functional?

If I had to take a guess:

- main vocalist

- lead vocalist

- rapper specialist

- main dancer

If 1 of those 4 is also the main visual and you have a rotating center, then all members beyond those 4 roles is basically redundant and 'filler', so anyone beyond 4-5 members is filler.

Sullyoon and Bae are skilled but next to the vocal and dance line, they're average imo.

Weird to call Giselle a filler when she's the best rapper of the group and her vocals are in the same level of some lead/main vocals of other groups
