Unstanning a group because of it’s fandom is valid

It depends on your own definition of a stan. For me, I can stan without ever interacting with a fandom, so I personally disagree.

For some people, participating in the community is an important part of being a "stan." So it makes perfect sense that, if you don't like the stan community, you would no longer be part of it.

Why does everyone have their own definition for every term

LOL yeah, you can have your own definition for these types of terms because some people might consider themselves crossing the line from casual fan to being apart of the fandom.

Like I know ONCE who come into being a ONCE only listening to most of their title tracks and being familliar with the members. Some that call themselves ONCE from loving one song.

But since there are so many definitions and when someone considers themselves as crossing from a non-fan/casual fan to being apart of a standom, there's really no right or wrong way to call someone what they are.
