Awaken is a K-Drama broadcasted by tvn in the end of 2020 and early 2021. It's a thriller/police type of drama following Nam Koong Min in one of his best role. The whole drama is a Koong min masterclass, completely going of each episode and literally carrying the whole thing on his back.
The plot is quite good and suspense is there. Seolhyun is very good compared to her other appearences, she really matured and even though her role wasn't that hard it was still a nice job. The side characters were also really good and supported Koong Min work perfectly.
The suspense was better than most kdrama ive watched, though the storyline might be weird at some points, I think most people will be fine with it.
There is a little bit of sci-fi in it.
