Itzy has the potential

I'm not going to set up the girls by saying they're the next BP and bla bla bla they're unique in their own way but I think itzy is the only 4th gen girl group I see having a global hit and becoming successful in west ( not on the same level of bts and bp) but they got the potential i hope dumb jyp doesn't abandon them. Which group u think got potential to become big internationally?

Ive has passed them with their debut alone why do people keep acting like itzy are still leading anything lol itzy are nearly a 4 year group, it's over lol give it up they've peaked even jyp sees this hence nmixx

I still think itzy isn’t over, they have the chance to still have a good hit as long as they stick with galacticka because I believe Mafia in the morning spoilt their rep and it impacted Loco and loco was too generic compared to the signature songs given by galacticka to itzy

Yes out of all the 4th gen groups itzy has the most potential imo, jyp just needs to give them the right song…

Honestly I don’t see Itzy or Aespa hitting it big in the west. Both of their signature sounds lack appeal to western audiences.

HYBE and YG’s new ggs will have a leg up, let’s see what they do.

Sometimes all it takes is one viral song that does well just like how Blackpink had "DDU-DU DDU-DU" in 2018. It's not a reach to see that happening with ITZY. Maybe not matching Blackpink's success, but still quite high up there.

It's not that deep.

The same excuse for three years that they have been saying. Give itzy the right songs and see how they dominate. Did twice and blackpink wait for the right song forever to show their power? People should just live in the moment and see that itzy will never be a thing. It would have happened by now.

I was just listening to 4th gen groups I've no bias against any of them but itzy members stands out.

They could do okay internationally but they will never be a bp level success or close to it. My bet is on ygngg or hybe groups, yg is the company with most western appeal (image and sound wise) and hybe seems to know how to promote their groups over there since they have more experience (and connetions) because of bts

Man you stans are crazy about charts and numbers lol. Itzy's a great group. They have alot of contents for fans, alot of songs, songs are great too. They're enjoyable. Even group they're pit against, aespa, is also a great group.

It's like all of yall listen to KPOP with a stick up your @$$, just enjoy it as is lmao.

Ive got a good song.

I love Itzy, but the songs are B/C tier and it's not good enough if their company wants them to progress.

Izzy had their smaller one with wannabe. Thoug I don’t think they profited on it as much as they did.

I think IVE have the biggest chance because not only they are popular and had the most popular international 4th gen song, if their music follow the same path of Eleven and if they also sign with a western big label like Monsta X (labelmate) and get good english songs, collabs and promo in America they will have no competition.

I also think Stayc and Nmixx have an advantage over aespa and Itzy, after Ive. At least in the west.

If BBC managed to promote Loona properly they would be the biggest international girl group but now it's too late. They lost their momentum.

aespa have a lot of potential because their concept is the most impressive and interesting. Once they get songs that we know SM can produce like Psycho or Make a Wish, they will appeal more to i-fans and the west. But right now I can't imagine anyone that isn't a kpop fan enjoying a song like Savage.

International is highly overrated by kpop fans. They think having decent MV views and some Spotify charting is international fame. BTS shows what real international fame is, having your name said along the biggest names in music and charting for weeks in worldwide charts.

Itzy bring the biggest 4th gen gg international means nothing really, it's just a way to brag about stats.
