As chart masters numbers are always close to ifpi standards. ( little less than ifpi ). That means wings, BE, mots7 actual number must be over ten million in official numbers , but by chart masters method, they will cross it before end of 2022. Dynamite is pushing BE ahead of Mots7, despite the latter one having more pure sales. The power of streams! The next album might do it this year too but we need to see its pure sales first after comeback.
Another important thing BTS's three LY series will cross 10 million mark in some years! SO that take their total albums over 10 million equivalents to 8!
And with future releases , BTS will end up as one of the very few acts in history to have ten or more than ten eras to cross 10 million equivalent mark! 8 eras are already done deal.
Mariah carey a legend has only 7 eras over ten million , Eminem a 200 million seller and best selling artist of last 30 years and this century, has 7 eras over 10 million eas. BTS is sure to have more eras than both. That is huge feat BTS is crossing 100 million mark this year as their sales are not updated and with future releases this year. I wonder where they gonna end up! They are already on way to cross backstreet boys who are around 100 million.
