My mom didn't know what spinach was until 2015. Safe to say I dodged that one by a mile. I like Boston Market's spinach casserole though! (its not for everyone but it's defo for me!)

I'm only Gen Z...they've showed us Popeye but I don't think we'd understand it when we were younger.

Plus, call us weird, but both my younger brother and I always ate our vegetables simply because we often enjoyed them. I don't really remember being picky about the vegetables that were given to me. Maybe growing up.

Yes, my mother did say that to me when I was a kid and it's true. I still eat spinach today and it is one of the best vegetable sources of iron which is fine for me as I'm vegetarian. (Though you need to eat a lot of it).

Is it just me or is there the illusion that having your birthday later in the year feel like your birthday's further away than someone who has a birthday earlier in the year despite them still being a full 12 months apart?

But idk about people with earlier birthdays because idk I've never had an earlier birthday...
