Why does Seventeen have so much longevity?

Seventeen doesn’t come from a Big 3 company, doesn’t have any huge hit songs like Twice or Exo, doesn’t have any member popular with the public like Jimin or Eunwoo, don’t seem to get discussed online much, yet they keep getting more and more successful? They are the #9 best selling act in the world this year, only BTS or NCT sells more than them. How does Seventeen have such a long and successful career over other acts that seem to generate more buzz?
