Predict how groups will chart with their next comeback

While charting is hard to predict, there's still some patterns that emerge that seem to be consistent. So, how will the groups do based on that?

BTS - that's a nobrainer, they'll kill it, the only question is how much

other boygroups - they'll totally bomb on the charts

Blackpink - Blinks and kpop fans have been starving for BP content, so obviously their next song will top charts, Teddy's involvement makes it practically a safe bet

Aespa - they're the new rising star! Their next comeback will chart very well, what kinda song they come back with will determine how long it'll keep doing well

Red Velvet - is a hit or miss. Koreans love RV and RV members, even their solo projects hit it off. If their cb song is another ZZB? Song will fade quickly. Another Psycho/Bad Boy? Song will top charts

TWICE - Scientist bombed, and overall JYP has gone out of touch with Koreans. Their cb song will chart badly, unless it's a killer song and JYP promotes it big time (REALLY big)

ITZY - with how JYP groups are charting and how ITZY charting has grown worse, their cb song will not do well

Mamamoo - they've lost it, even more now that 1 member left. Their group cb song will make no impact, at best a Hwasa release will chart well

Brave Girls - their next comeback will be a make or break event. Their cb song will probably do alright, but not great. The hype has faded

Oh My Girl - same as Aespa, they're the new rising stars! Koreans love them, their next cb song will do fine again

Idle - will do average on charts, probably not make it to the top 10 in Melon

bp will totally chart well due to hiatus

BP will not come back in 2022 because YG will be too busy trying to figure out NFTs and how to make the most money of them by linking them to their dungeons artists. So, yeah

if bts returns with a korean hype tt, i think it will chart really well.

koreans (and many i army) are eager for such a bts song, with the previous songs being english or slower

when bp returns, it's gonna do well

they have been on hiatus for almost 2 years. they could release Ready for Love (awful demo) & it would still top charts.

aespa are on a roll, so unless their cb is completely horrible, they are probably top gg with korean public.

4th gen boy groups are gonna bomb, but after the mild succes of "polaroid love" with korean locals, maybe we'll see a viral 4th gen song?

The only acts that will do well are below.

Big Bang - Will restore their digimon status despite the chart reforms

BTS with korean promotions - Will do better than butter

BTS without korean promotions - will do the same as butter

BP - Restore digimon streak

Aespa - Performance is better than Savage but worse than next level

OMG - Will continue with same digital performance as before

Y’all rlly think bp is gonna chart well, just because of the hiatus and blinks being starved

You don’t get their huge streams and charting with just starved fanbase. Bp wphave a huge public appeal
