WHO OWNED THIS ERA? BTS EDITION: HYYH PT.1 (POLL)

Maybe I’m biased, but when I first listened to HYYH pt.1, all I could hear or see at that time was Taehyung and Jungkook. So, definitely them for me.

Suga and jimin

It's Yoongi for me. His rap in I need U is emotional and haunting.

Jimin n Joon, followed closely by JK...

It's hard to pick between Joon and JK but his opening in Dope tipped the scale...

1. Intro : Suga.

2. I Need U : I absolutely love this song. I remember RM's and Suga's verses the most. Jungkook is all throughout this song. Jimin center during choreo is another memorable thing about this song.

3. Hold Me Tight : This was the first time someone from vocal line penned on an official BTS release. It is difficult to choose one of the vocal line members as my 2 choices because all of them shined in this one. J-Hope's verse was amazing here. This was one of my top 5 most played songs in 2021.

4. Skit : Legendary

5. DOPE : It is illegal to make choices on this one. Everyone was DOPE.

6. Boyz with fun : RM & JK. Kinda J-Hope as well.

7. Converse High : JK for sure. Torn between Jimin and Suga.

8. Moving On : RM whole rapline is legendary for this one. They showed their versatility. RM and Suga being great storytellers that they are and J-Hope with his ability to find something positive in everything

9. Love is not over : Jungkook's first production. This full length edition was my top 3 most played songs of last year. For shorter version I cannot choose. Those adlibs, hidden vocals by all vocal line members were like wrecking into my heart. That outro when they all were trying to convince "love is not over" is just perfection. BTS member's ability to put emotions into their vocals is rare in the industry where everyone is seeking for perfection. That's what separates them.

Overall I'm gonna go Suga and Jungkook. RM is close third. It feels like this type of music is literally for JK and Suga. That's why 'Stay Alive' also came out sooo good. Because both of them came off to me as character writers.
