Do you chill your watermelon before you eat it?

i won't

i don't really have room in my fridge for a whole watermelon. i'll just cut it, eat what i can, then cut them in cubes and put it in a container.

cut them, and put it in the fridge. the fridge in my house does not have the space to fit a whole watermelon

anyways it really doesn't matter either way...I wouldn't deliberately chill it before I eat it ie if I bought a whole or half or quarter watermelon from the shops then I would eat it at room temperature but afterwards I would put it in the fridge...

fun fact: we (my family) cook the watermelon skin/rind (the white part) and eat that too!!!

Yes but we cut it into slices before putting in the fridge so the inside is a cool as can be.

Also we had an incident where had a while watermelon in the fridge overnight and we took it out the next day during a very summers day and left it there on the table. We had a guest at the door right at that moment so my dad moved it to the side while we let them in. Everyone had a long chat and all, probably about an hour. Then there's a sudden BANG from the kitchen. Dad looks in there and lets out a loud FUCK. We come and and see the watermelon had expanded and burst open with bits of it landing upon the freshly done laundry

yeah, i usually don't eat too much at once, so it's usually just a small portion.

I don't usually eat watermelon but when I do, I just eat room temp I guess...no chilling involved.
