5’8 maybe with high insoles on lmfao. His short legs and big head is not what a 5’8 person looks like, most of the time.
YG was always careful on how they positioned everyone to not expose his height. Even putting him at the back sometimes so they can use the excuse of him being at the back as to why him appearing shorter than he is.

Him standing with straight legs but a few inches shorter than Daesung and Seungri who have their legs spread.
I get being tall is a thing in any industry, but in Big Bang’s case I don’t think any of their fans really cared.

Even in this photo only 7-8cm difference justseems off.
Kpop is notorious for making idols wear high insoles because they’re so obsessed with height. I know even Bi Rain’s height came into question at times and he isn’t even short. He literally had to take a photo next to someone who is considered tall just to prove he wasn’t lying about his height….

I think T.O.P. is at least 175 and Taeyang 161 at most so it checks out

yeah 15 cm different would be more like it since they look like 5-6 inches apart.
Kpop’s obsession with wanting to push everyone as close to 180cm to the point of lying about heights is weird considering the average Korean is nowhere near that. But then again, ideal idol types don’t necessarily reflect the reality of the general public.
You’ll see more Korean guys with Taeyang’s height than TOP’s.
