She’s just loved by Koreans and Japanese for looking cute. Everyone in the cat section is talking about the cute thumbnail and how she looks like a puppy. Views doesn’t mean you have stage presence. When twice were in their rookie years , tzuyu always had the most viewed but her stage presence is at the bottom.

Depending on the stylings and the way she performs she’s either absolutely adorable ( like in here lol ) or cold and icy ( her Next Level with the short hair fancam )
Also has a gorgeous voice that’s perfect for OSTs, the type of voice koreans adore and she’s strong enough of a dancer to be fully enjoyable to watch on stage

In fact look at most of Jennies fancams almost all of them are mid tier to low quality performances but still get high view regardless(even when no scandal is involved) why? Many reason's beyond performance quality. Looks, body, staging, song choice, fandom streaming, individual popularity, being from a popular groups, etc, etc.
Same for Winter just because her views are high doesn't mean their is any correlation between her performance and views, doesn't mean the haters were wrong as the OP implies. That's the point.

Jennie’s red dress fancam, the rehearsal one with the glasses and the concert one, the “lazy Jennie” fancams, didn’t have a particularly high amount of views until she got into that “lazy scandal”. It has a lot of views NOW because there were thousands of people dragging her then defending her in the comments. This is something else ENTIRELY.
Now Jennie’s other fancams… if you think her performances are mediocre that’s on you LOL you’re gonna tell me her Pretty Savage, DKWTD, LSG, HYLT fancams are bad performances? They have a high amount of views but never got into any controversy or didn’t have any criticism. Why are you comparing them to the specific fancams she got DRAGGED for which made lots of people watch it and drag her too.
