this is a weird comparison. because solo-career wise, rain wins, but if we compare bigbang and rain, bigbang wins. GD has promoted more with bigbang than he has promoted solo, which makes it awkward to compare his solo career to an actual soloist like rain
There's also the element that Rain is active and promoting still, as an actor, singer, and a general variety/entertainer, whereas BigBang and GD himself haven't been publicly active since 2018. I know GD's had a couple of ad campaigns or fashion releases he's participated in since then, but he's mostly stayed out of the limelight. It's difficult to compare a 24-year-long still active career vs. a 12-year-long one that's been on hiatus for the last five years.
