Take it to HR?
It was already reported by another staff after I had ranted to them about it. I told them I didn’t want anything to escalate I just wanted him to slow his role at times. Yeah, he’s an ass but shit, he got bills too. On good days he’s decent. But I judge people by the company they keep and wouldn’t put it past him to do some unhinged shit.

This doesn't sound like a good working situation
I mean if you can ignore him, fine. I try my best to get along with everyone, but yea there are some people I definitely don't go out of my way to be around. Thankfully I'm a developer and I usually don't NEED to. When I do, a ton of ranting to other co-workers ensues as log as it's benign. If it's actual harassment though, like hell am I keeping quiet about it.
they said they like their work AND get good pay
Because the people around you can sour the experience, even if the work itself is enjoyable.
Sometimes it's possible to outlast the difficult co-workers, but sometimes it's not worth the mental stress of it. It becomes a personal judgement call at that point.

Trust me, It’s fine. I’ve worked with MUCH worse at a time I was MUCH less mature than I am now. And I hated that job lol. Shit affected my mental health terribly back then. Now it’s just a nuisance I can look at as a lesson.
If you think you can outlast without it making you hate anyone but that person, I'd stay. I love what I do and also get paid well for it, but yea I have a few co-workers that I'd just as soon walk the other way upon seeing them. It's not enough to make me depart from a job I love, but the day it gets to be (and I agree with horizonshard it totally can as it happened to me), I'd be gone and I'd spill all in my exit interview. More power to you though!

Yep, exit interviews are a powerful thing for that. You aren't going to go through anything more at that company, but you can try to make it better for others in the future.
Luckily I'm in the position where I really don't have any co-workers to cause me trouble or stress. Or at least the rest of my department is 3000 miles away. It's nice.

My old job that I’ve mentioned I left a nasty review on their page spilling all the dirt that went on beyond typical workplace drama

Loool. I never had an exit interview. I just walked out. I wish I had one. They could have LEARNED something. But according to my beloved past coworker, (an actual angel and no I am not exaggerating) it’s just getting worse.
I quit the day after 12/18/17. Great decision on my part but extremely sad to say that was the straw.
