before Aespa was announce to debut, a producer from one of their producer camp leaked a list of songs who were supposed to be released in the future by SM artist (you'll see in the list that Candy was supposed to be a song for Kai but end up being released by baekhyun)
and on the same list you can see a song called Siren was made for SMNGG ( who was suppose to be Aespa) produced by Chikk and when you watch the producer of Siren Chikk is also credited which means this song was suppose to become an Aespa song in the future but wasn't keep by SM and Chikk sold the demo to FNC ent
But yes, is hard to imagine
