Imagine having more CD sales than two of the biggest names in the US, Adele who made a return after 6 long years with her very highly anticipated album and Taylor who is re-releasing some of her best work again in the year when you didn't even release a new album. This is BTS.

Even when I knew BTS will be on that list...

I didn't expect them to be #1 with no new albums. This is crazy

I mean the real point is, the gap would have been much bigger had they released a new album

Honestly I don't think even ARMYs realise how big BTS are.....

They are #1 album selling and touring artist in the US atm which is the biggest music market in the world and they are also #1 artist overall in Japan which is the 2nd biggest market in the world.

This stuff is unprecedented. I don't remember the last time when there was someone who was dominating all over the world.

BTS are truly once in a lifetime!!!!

Wow!!!! Just wow!!!!

Digital sales & CD sales are on decline atm in the US and BTS are killing it in those categories.

They sold 1.03m CDs in the US without releasing any album this year. That means their back catalogue is selling like hot cakes.

No wonder LA concert tickets couldn't even reach "GP" because they are not even needed. Sorry not sorry.

And BTS did not even release an album this year lol.
