Overload of albums or the environmental un-friendliness of kpop

  • Here's an interesting article about the environmental issue caused by the kpop industry and especially with the enormous amount of kpop albums sold this year.


    What do you think? There's no denying the impact and despite being proud of our favorites artists' growth, it's important to point out how inflated the numbers are by habits such as the no ship option and also the responsibility companies hold in both their practices and the fabrics they use for the albums.


    I personally already feel guilty of buying one version of each for the shipping ;(;(

    The propositions are interesting although let's be honest, companies won't want to get rid of the easy money. I don't think fanmeets tickets should vanish in albums but it is necessary to limit them per person. People would still find way around it but it would be a start.

  • No bulk buying = less income, no million seller, no bb200, no sales buzz, etc


    It goes against the best interest of K-pop companies to change it

    oh we agree on this, only government pressure (but they won't if they at least undirectly get a part of the pie) or a massive massive fan uproar (which wouldn't happen as some have the money and want to keep those practices)
