probably mainly because they’re from bighit and have the hip hop old bts vibe

one of the members did release a self composed song on soundcloud and yt that did well. they post dance, singing and vlogging videos and tbh seem like fun guys. i can see why they’ve amassed such following. they’re talented too so it’s not like they’re not deserving of all this fame.

just remind me of them a little bit. with the pre-debut vlogging and their obvious interest in rap above all. i’ve heard one of the rumored hidden members is a legit rapper that gained a lot of popularity on smtm. jo woochan if i’m not wrong. he writes and raps like a pro. leo also self writes and composes all his music. it’s just these little things.

Combination of hybe stans + hybe antis. I was shocked when that random rap controversy got so much attention everywhere even here on akp. The only other trainees I'd see getting this kind of attention even for tiny scandals are sm ones.

because they post a lot of youtube, tiktok and twitter. a lot of non fans have come to like them through their tiktoks, the members seem nice, fun and are really handsome. leo already put out a self-composed song and it done really well. a lot of knetz like them for having that bighit style and sangwon and leo especially always trend on korean sites. and lastly, they're from bighit so we all know any group under big4 gets pre debut hype it's not smth new, idk why yall are acting so shocked. aespa, txt, enhypen, itzy, treasure have all had a massive fandom even before debut too.

There’s rumours that jo Woochan is the hidden member of the group. I’ve been following him since 2017 (I love watching smtm) so if he joins I’ll be excited but he’s my only reason. I don’t Stan groups until after I hear the music, too many times I’ve been excited for a debut then the songs are not my taste
