Have you ever read something not directed at you that made you feel bad about yourself

  • I don't really care about other people's

    opinions that much.

    Especially not online.

I'm trying to do what I think is good, I feel bad when I feel like I failed myself or someone close to me. When I feel like I should be a better person.

When that happens, I just overdose with chocolate...

Hehe no, I just try to talk with someone trustworthy about it.

  • I guess the first thing is

    1. not to take everything so seriously

    2. learn to value oneself more...truly get to know thyself...

as Sun Tzu says - know thyself know thy enemy, 1000 battles 1000 victories

there's a reason he starts with know thyself...

    3. be confident with who you are...we only get one shot at life and this is it

    4. learn your strengths and weaknesses - and then focus on those strengths and less on the negatives...

    5. if one does read something bad or even if it was something directed at me I would ask questions to find out why...if it was not directed at me then self-reflect to ask why did I feel bad about it...if it was directed at me ask the person to explain why...

  • How do you handle your own sense of worth and triggers?

I do believe everyone is responsible for their own triggers in most cases, so what are yours coping mechanisms? How do you take care of yourselves?

The only time I’m triggered is mostly when I’m online. Lol The only coping mechanism is, to get out and have fun with my irl friends. I mean, you can’t always please people, I’m likable if they don’t like me, then it’s their problem
