Well, we did tell them BTS was going to win regardless of any criteria change unless the award show specifically removes BTS from the running. But then they had to make a jackass of themselves, claiming Armys were angry that BTS would stop winning because fan votes were gone.

BTS having a dating “scandal” would only make noise for a short period among fans, it will be the kpop stans dragging that shit for weeks: exhibit A: the Insta incident. Most of us really don’t give a shit, the members actively shoot down the dating and marriage requests, pretty much tells the fans, don’t be delusional.

If anything a dating scandal will give a much needed cleanse to the fandom and make delulus leave. Album sales may take a hit but their digitals and concert selling power would be the same. Besides when you're selling 4M+, losing 200-300k sales isn't the end of the world.
