Txt’s Ice Cream -Uplifting or cringe?

Have you checked the lyrics? I don’t think so. Ice cream is a trickster. You think it’s a happy little cringy song until you read the lyrics.

They compare Ice cream to happiness. It melts. It leave you bitter. You ask why you? Why not others? Then you maybe ask for others to feel the same way too. But you still empty and started to regret your bitterness and the bad wish on others. Because that’s not gonna make you any happier.

Extra bit: I find even the auto tune on it fitting. They gave it an echo, for some people it’s stronger then others. It makes the emptiness more heavy.

the autotune criticism is because txt use it a lot for style. mostly in title tracks and promotional bsides. goes to show how kpop stans fight so hard to discredit txt and go at any lengths to call them untalented

People seem to think auto tune is to hide voices only. Personally I love how they use it. My favorite is What if I had been a puma. Leaving the rap part empty of all auto tune then put it on the others makes the rap part seem like it’s more important. That’s not the right word but I don’t remember the correct word. lol

I didn’t like it at first I thought the same, it’s too sweet, then I read the lyrics and it hit me hard.

I disliked it on first listen because of the shout-y vocals (a pet peeve of mine in music, together with kids singing) in some parts, but i started really liking it after reading the lyrics v-v

This song isn't even uplifting. Soobin even worried when he wrote the lyrics because he said this song portrayed negative emotions. You clearly just spewing nonsense and didn't even bother to see the lyrics.
