Like that person said . 2ne1 beginning is kinda bang . And YG is more involved back in the day.
And mentor is usually for someone who teach them or guide them to this point . She might not need a mentor anymore now .
But we don't know what happens during her trainee days and early 2ne1 days . He might really help him back then .
Some of you give two cents about her the whole time.. but if she can be linked to something negative y’all suddenly know how to enter a Thread about her 
Anyway… I think why many are confused by her saying this is because A LOT thought YHS is the one operating YG, even though it was his Brother who was the CEO … he was more in the position of mentor, producer and face of the company since he found it… so her liking posts about wishing her to leave YG has nothing to do with her thinking he was a good mentor for her. There is a whole department responsible for the Artists. Many don’t seem to know how a company works, you got a whole board that makes decisions not one single person, especially not in a huge company like YG. So many things we thought was YHS decisions ( we kept blaming him for everything, including me lol), was actually a decision made by the whole board.
She probably had an issue with them.
Anyway, whatever you think of him, CL is a grown woman who knows what she is doing… maybe he was a good mentor for her, why should she say something else just because others see him as problematic… this further shows how real and honest she is and that she doesn’t change her perceptions towards things based on public opinion.
I'm honestly more suprised she's mentioning YHS rather than TEDDY 👀
