I agree but even so all those GG are no longer around - its almost as if when they age the public/their fans move on to the younger prettier ones whilst for BG they can still command a comeback regardless.

So your argument is that because BG don't rely on the GP but rather their fandom they can continue to comeback regardless of the GP whereas GG have a harder time (esp pre-3rd gen) because they are GP dependent and once they "age" the GP moves on...

I don't know if what I'm saying is true. The majority public will listen to the song following trends and what type of music they like most. Based on the chart, not many idols groups can do well, especially BG. However, BG still gets a good welcome for their comeback even if their career already passed/at 10th years. For example, SUJU & SHINEE managed to sell a huge amount of album sales. That why I thought, fandom contributed to a group survivability
