Like it says there it was demoralizing for smaller channels. Not really that relevant for celebs unless it’s like a highly disliked video.

Anyway I think YouTube did it for their own asses they didn’t like the dislike ratio on YouTube rewind videos me thinks

Well very few other platforms have something akin to dislikes these days so it makes sense to bring it more in line with products like Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

This has been a problem ever since they introduced the notifications bell and has never been fixed
