What do you say about men advertising makeup products?

    So.... 6

    1. Yes we need more men in such ads cause gender-equality and stuff (5) 83%
    2. Oh god no, please no men with too much visible makeup in makeup ads (0) 0%
    3. if its not too much going into the "men should too" way than makeup ads with men could be ok, otherwise I might say no to that (0) 0%
    4. I am old fashioned and dislike every man who wears any type of makeup so these ads shouldn't exist in the first place (1) 17%

    I am not speaking of the usual advertisments where men say they also want to mosturise their elbow... I mean stuff like lipsticks and shit ... you know what I mean ...


    I had this question in my head after seeing the Japanese boygroup JO1 doing an ad for YSL-Lipsticks

    I don't see a problem with it. Men can wear and buy makeup if they want so like, I'm sure there's a small market that can get into this kind of thing. Makeup on men seems to be more popular nowadays I think.

    In general (all genders), my opinion is that bright lip colors were thought up by people who want to catch the person wearing bright lip color with smeared lip color...if you get what I'm saying. Ring on the coffee cup? What about ring around the...now I'm getting crass.
